Asphalt Paving

Asphalt Milling

We provide asphalt milling services in North Jersey, where we use a specialized machine to grind and remove the top layer of an existing asphalt pavement, essentially "shaving" off the old surface to prepare it for a new layer of asphalt to be laid down. This is often referred to as a "mill and overlay" process. It's a method to repair and restore the road surface by removing deteriorated asphalt while leaving the base intact. In some cases where asphalt base has deteriorated, additional milling is performed to correct subbase.

Drainage Work

Essentially, drainage services manage stormwater by channeling it to a proper drainage point like a storm drain. Sealcoating

Sealcoating creates a barrier against weather elements, preventing water from seeping into cracks in asphalt and causing further damage to the asphalt base. It's the process of applying a protective layer of sealant to the surface of an asphalt parking lot, which helps to protect the pavement from damaging elements like UV rays, water, oil, and salt. Sealcoating can help extend the lifespan of your asphalt paving by filling minor cracks and preventing further deterioration.

ADA Parking Lot Upgrades

Newly constructed parking lots generally meet the specific accessibility criteria of the ADA quite simply, but if you're starting from scratch, implementing this regulation for EXISTING PARKING LOTS or buildings is often more complicated. This doesn't mean spaces made prior to ADA regulations regarding construction are excused; far from it! Existing parking lots require barrier removal whenever such a job is feasibly possible. In this way, even older spaces are kept in line, maintaining an accessible path and keeping up with public accommodation.

Asphalt Crack Filling

Asphalt crack filling is the process of repairing small cracks in asphalt pavement by injecting a specialized filler material into it, essentially sealing the cracks to prevent water from seeping in and causing further damage. This helps to extend the lifespan of the parking lot surface, and is a preventative maintenance procedure to avoid larger issues like potholes and subbase damages.
